A Poem From my Love in the Middle of a Sports Bar

Lovely goddess, tender art thou

Through timeless torch, senses ignite

A moment with you

Is a battle worth the fight

Speak not, for your eyes say all

Though one is just a tad bit small

Fear none, you are safe in my arms

When the cold fire spreads, feel no alarms

One day you shall stand on the prow

Sails earned by sacrificed right

Remember me when the mild wind blows

As you sail away into the mysterious night

– I said write down the first words in your head and you made art.
