Tomorrow is the day. My final college decision is revealed. This past week my anxiety has been the highest in a long time in part due to the suspense of the decision and my anxiety attack earlier in the week about my blood phobia. I have practically devoured half of a box of cookies in the past 3 days due to stress.
Through all of this chaos, a shining light did appear in my life last night: I was nominated for a prestigous award by my school. This award is for service in the field of science and is for the cream of the crop. I have to fill out a never-ending application and complete an interview in order to win. From past experiences, I have heard that this award is 70% about who you know in the community and 30% of what you have actually done. Even if I lose, it is an amazing honor even to be recognized for the award.
I will let you know tomorrow at 6 pm if my dreams will come true. My heart is already racing.
